About the Forum:
The Virginia Victim Assistance Network’s annual Victim/Witness Directors’ Forum is the premier gathering for the leaders of Virginia’s Victim/Witness Assistance Programs—a dedicated space to connect, align, and fortify advocacy across the Commonwealth.
This year’s forum blends essential operational updates with strategic planning for the future. Key focus areas include:
- VVAN’s Past, Present, & Future: Reflecting on our shared impact, assessing current strengths, and charting the strategic roadmap ahead.
- Legislative Priorities: Aligning on critical policy updates and advocacy strategies to better protect and support crime victims.
- Virginia Retirement System (VRS): Navigating the latest updates and benefits to support your program's workforce.
- Updates from the Field: Exploring emerging trends, systemic shifts, and key administrative developments impacting programs statewide.
More than just a meeting, the Forum is an invaluable opportunity to collaborate with fellow directors, tackle systemic challenges, and return to your community empowered to lead.
